Starting Off on the Right Foot!

Mortar Board has kicked off the semester with the first meetings, and we've been having quite a bit of fun! At the beginning of each weekly meeting we gather to play a game, complete a team task, or talk in our "family time" as we call it. In the picture above, we played a game called "Question Spiderweb" where we took turns passing a roll of string to each other while answering some crazy questions. At the end, we had a spiderweb that was just a unique as we are!
In our meetings we've starting working on plans for this fall and the coming semester, and boy do we have some good ideas. You'll be seeing us on campus soon promoting scholarship, leadership, and service everywhere we go. Not to mention the fun social events we'll be hosting as well!
We're ramping up to have a great semester and we can't wait to start hosting and creating programs that are not only fun and educational for us, but the community as well. Wish us luck!
