Flower Sales 2016

Our first event with the 2016-2017 crew was a huge success on all fronts! We gathered together to sell flowers at the Texas Wesleyan University Robing and Hooding ceremony on May 13th 2016, and the Graduation ceremony on May 14th 2016.
Since this was the first event together we spent time on the side playing card games, chatting with other members, and enjoying snacks and drinks. This time spent together forged the first bonds between us for the upcoming year. After the sales we also held a picnic to continue socializing over hot dogs, grilled cheeses, sodas, cookies, and chips!
After both days were all said and done, we raised a whopping $600 in profits by selling out of everything! Congratulations to all the Mortar Board members who participated, and good luck on all the future fundraisers!
